Microfilm of original documents.

Camden District once covered all or parts of the following counties: Cherokee, York, Chester, Fairfield, Richland, Clarendon, Sumter, Lee, Kershaw and Lancaster.

The last books on the 2nd film (A-2 and B-2) indicate Fairfield District in lieu of Camden District. At the time those volumes were recorded, Camden District had been divided into several smaller districts, one being Fairfield, slightly larger than today's Fairfield County (it included small pieces of Richland and Kershaw counties).

Includes indexes: one large index at the beginning of the first film for all of the volumes and other indexes included with some of the volumes.
