Christopher Needham (b.ca1595) was born in England and emigrated to the Colonies sometime before 1640. He was listed for transporting himself and wife, and sons Edward and Thomas Needham in Maryland. He settled in Lower Norfolk Co., VA. A descendant, James Pullman Needham (1872-1946), son of Samuel L. Needham and Lucritia Griffen, married Sarah Nancy Wright (1881-1956), daughter of William T. Wright and Julia Ann Latham. Family members lived in Cullman Co., Alabama. Several generations of ancestors and descendants are given.

Includes Duke, Garner, Latham, Carr, Griffin, Willingham and other related families.
