Gives the lines of descent from four men surnamed George, all early immigrants to America. Descendants of all four are found throughout the United States. No relationship among the four Georges has been found, except that some of their descendants have intermarried.

James George (ca. 1632-1707) was born in England and went to Massachusetts as an indentured servant. He married Sarah Jordan (born 1636), a daughter of Francis Jordan and Jane Wilson, ca. 1658. They had five children.

John George (ca. 1675-1715/16), was born in England. He married Ann Swaddock (ca. 1678-1763). They immigrated to Massachusetts between 1700 and 1702, and had seven children.

Nicholas George (ca. 1600-1675/76) was born in England. His wife was named Elizabeth (1601-1699). They immigrated to Massachusetts ca. 1640, and had six children.

Isaac George (ca. 1740-1816) was born in England. His wife was named Mary or Molly. They immigrated to New Hampshire ca. 1763, and had nine children.

Includes Brown, Clark, Davis, Johnson, Smith, and related families.
