Chiefly, a record of descendants of John Holt who was born at Hog Island, Virginia in 1769 and later moved to Bunker Hill, Pennsylvania. John Holt married Susan Cobun who was born September 23, 1776. Susan was the daughter of James and Sabria Cobun who settled Masontown, Monongalia County, Virginia in 1770. John and Susan were married on March 6, 1797. They had ten children. Descendants lived in Virginia, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Illinois, California and elsewhere.
