Four Edwards brothers immigrated in the early 1600s from Wales to Virginia. The first was John Edwards, who immigrated in 1623 to Northumberland County, Virginia. His brothers, Thomas, Robert and William, immigrated in 1635; Thomas to Surry County, Robert to Westmoreland County, and William to James City County. This book deals with the descendants of Robert Edwards (fl.1635-1669). Descendants and relatives lived in Virginia, Maryland, Washington, D.C., North Carolina and elsewhere. Includes ancestry in Wales, Scotland, Ireland, England and elsewhere to 1066 A.D. and earlier.
