Thomas Pasley (1762-1844), a Revolutionary War soldier, married Winnifred Adcork (Adcock) in 1785 in Buckingham County, Virginia. They had twelve children, 1789-1814. He died in Owen County, Kentucky. His son, James Pasley, was born in 1797 in Bourbon County, Kentucky. He married Elizabeth Blunt in 1819. They had eight children, 1822-1846. The family migrated from Bourbon County Kentucky, to Bear Grove Township, Fayette County, Illinois, in 1840. He died in 1868 in Fayette County. Descendants listed lived in Illinois and Indiana.
