Jacob Wolfe, son of John Wolfe and Catherine Bare, was born 27 July 1796 in Washington County, Virginia. He married Jalah Stallard, daughter of Rawley Duncan Stallard and Mary Elizabeth Hutchinson, about 1818. Jacob died 30 May 1863 and Jalah died 11 May 1884. They had ten children. Their children and descendants have lived in Virginia, Kentucky, Missouri, Texas, and other areas of the United States.
