"The Bible was originally owned by Robert Thomas Butler, Amberst County, Virginia. The Bible is owned [1971] by Mabel Claire Butler and Minnie Butler Albright ... St. Petersburg, Florida."

Robert Thomas Butler and Mary Susan Mays were married in 1879 in Amherst County, Virginia. They had five children, 1881-1893, born in Amherst County. He died in 1918 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and was buried at Lynchburg, Virginia. Includes Butler and Parsons grandchildren and great grandchildren.
