Microfilm of typescript and ms. collection (part photocopy, ca. 520 leaves) in possession Lillian Doane, Jasper, Indiana.

Contains copies of family sketches, research notes, census records, family group sheets, copies from books, copies of family documents, obituaries, etc.

John A. Wineinger (1808-1882) and his wife, Catherine Wininger (1809- 1870) had fifteen children, 1828-1853, born in Virginia, Tennessee, and Indiana. He married 2) Mrs. Margaret E. Beard (1835-1914) in 1871. They had two children, 1872-1876. His son, Samuel W. Wineinger (1836-1907) married Nancy Ann Harris (1847-1878) in 1867. They had five children, 1868-1877. He married 2) Malisa Anderson (1852-1893) in 1879. They had five children, 1880-1883, the first died as infants. He married 3) Nioma Jane Horton (1862-1907) in in 1893. They had two children, 1893-1899. He died at his home in Boone Township, Dubois County, Indiana.

Phillip Winegar, son of Andrew Winegar, and his wife, Margaret (b. 1781) six or eight children. He died in 1852 in Hawkins County, Tennessee. His grandson, James K. Winiger, was born in Floyd County, Indiana, in 1831, the son of George and Rebecca Wininger. He married Elizabeth Ellen Wineinger, daughter of Alexander and Mary Ann Walter Wineinger, in Orange County, Indiana, in 1852. They had nine children, 1853-1860, all born in Martin County, Indiana. He died in Dubois County, Indiana, in 1903.

Includes some ancestors and descendants with other connected Wineinger, Wininger, and Winegar families.
