Øvre Telemark prosti inkluderer de følgende prestegjeld: Rauland, Vinje, Mo, Fyrisdal, Nissedal, Kviteseid, Seljord og Lårdal, samt Tørdal sogn. Fra 1757 ble de følgende prestegjeld overført fra Nedre- til Øvre Telemark: Hjartdal og Gransherad.

Clerical probate records for Øvre Telemark deanery, Telemark County, Norway. Contains dates, names of deceased, heirs, guardians and trustees, inventory lists, land and holdings, and other miscellaneous information. Øvre Telemark deanery includes the following clerical districts: Rauland, Vinje, Mo, Fyrisdal, Nissedal, Kviteseid, Seljord, Lårdal and Tørdal parish. Hjartdal and Gransherad clerical districts became part of Øvre Telemark in 1757, they belonged to Nedre Telemark prior to 1757.
