Microfilm of typescript and ms. collection (photocopy, [3] leaves).

Contains information on the family of John Pegram, Jr. (b. ca. 1792); a list of Pegrams in the North Carolina 1850 census, and a letter from Bertha Alice (Pegram) Daniels, Ontario, California, to "Cousin and member of the family, Pegram."

Letter gives direct line of descent from George Pegram to Samuel Clay Pegram, the author's father. George Pegram was born ca. 1635 in England or Wales. His son, Daniel Pegram, was born in 1692 in Bruton Parish, York County, Virginia. He died in 1726. Their descendant, Samuel Clay Pegram was born in 1899 at Elkin, Surry County, North Carolina. He died in 1967.
