George Daniel Nethery was born in 1834 in Virginia. He married Louisa Griffin in 1860 and they had five children. George fought and was wounded in the Civil War. He died in 1899. Records of his descendants are included in this material. Many of these descendants reside in North Carolina, Florida, and elsewhere.

Includes Nethery, Neathery, Abbott, Wilson, Thomas, Elliott, Weaver, and related families.
