Michael Gerber (1851-1928), son of Mathias Gerber and Katherine Klassen, was born in Uersteld, Germany, and died in Stacyville, Iowa. He married Anna Maria Schumacher (1856-1948), daughter of John Schumacher and Maria Freund, in 1881. She was born in McHenry, Ill., and died in Adams Twp., Mower Co., Minnesota. Andrew Smith (1844-1939), son of Franz Xavier Smith and Theresia Meier, was born in Baden Prov., Germany, and died in Adams Twp., Mower Co., Minn. He married Anna Huemann (1857-1940), daughter of Joseph Huemann and Adelaide Benaelken, in 1875. She was born in McHenry, Illinois, and died in Mason City, Iowa.

Includes allied families of Heimer, Huemann, Falk, Pitzen, Schumacher, etc.
