Thomas Winslow, son of Timothy Winslow, was born in Perquimans County, North Carolina, in 1680. He married Elizabeth Clare, daughter of Timothy Clare at the Little River Monthly Meeting in 1704. Their Their grandson, Josiah Winslow (1741-ca. 1785), married Elizabeth Lamb, daughter of William Lamb. Two of their sons, James Winslow (1780-1864) and John Woolman (1784-1857), migrated to southern Indiana in 1812. Their descendants lived in Indiana, Illinois, and elsewhere.
