William Walker of Botetourt, listed as the first generation in this history, has not been positively identified. Several possibilities are presented. Henry Walker, son of William Walker, was born ca. 1756. He married Martha Woods in 1781 in Botetourt County, Virginia. They had nine children, 1782-1795. He died in 1803 in Botetourt County, Virginia. Descendants listed lived in Virginia, West Virginia, Kentucky, and elsewhere.

Includes the Snodgrass and other allied families.
