Family history and genealogical information about the descendants of William R. Stares who was born 3 July 1818 in Albemarle Co., Virginia. They moved to Arkansas sometime soon after their marriage and settled in Green County. They were the parents of sixteen children. Descendants lived in Arkansas, Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi, Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, California and elsewhere.
