Rodenbach ancestry traced to Nickolaus Rodenbach who lived in the 14th century. Daniel Rodenbach (1803-1851) was born in Wöllstein, Rhein-Hesen, Germany and came to Wayne County, New York ca. 1835- 1836. John Fabrique (ca. 1695-1782), son of John Fabrique of Languedoc, France, immigrated to Newtown, Connecticut. Descendants lived in Connecticut, New York, Michigan, Illinois, Massachusetts, Indiana, and elsewhere.

Includes Filer, Dodge, Humbert, Rice, Dodge, Beers, Seeley, Olmsted, Sherman, Diefendorf, Osborn, Leek, Talmadge, Jessup, Stratton, Dayton, Learned, Clough, and related families.
