Omfattet også sognene: Haram til 1702 da det ble innlemmet i Haram prestegjeld; Skodje og Vatne til 1858 da de ble innlemmet i Skodje prestegjeld; og Ålesund som ble eget sognekall i 1858 og residerende kapellani i 1878.

Contains priest and sexton records for Borgund clerical district which includes the following parishes: Borgund with Havnsund chapel and Giske. It also included Haram parish to 1702 when it became part of Haram clerical district; Skodje and Vatne until 1858 when they became Skodje clerical distict; and Ålesund until 1858 when it became its own district.
