Leroy Noble, Jr. (1827-1907) was born in Blount County, Tennessee. He served in the 72nd Regiment of the Missouri Militia of the Union Army. He married Sarah Ann Trantham 14 March 1850 in Green County, Missouri. They had one child. After the death of Sarah, Leroy married her sister Catherie Trantham 25 July 1854. They had four daughters. Descendants lived primarily in Missouri, Arkansas and Texas.
