Benjamin Stephens was born in 1754 in Virginia and married Dorothy Waller in 1775. They later moved to Kentucky and had 10 children. Information on many of his descendants and those of his siblings is included in this material. His mother was the second wife of Stephen Smith and their descendants are found now in Kentucky and elsewhere.

Includes Stephens, Ryle, Smith, and related families.
