The Rudder and related families of Virginia, Texas, Tennessee, Kentucky, Oregon and elsewhere. Family of Benjamin Jackson Rudder (1815-1862), the tenth child of Robert and Catherine Ferguson Rudder, who was born in Greene or Knox Co., Tenn. He married Eliza Jane Walker (1820-1882). She was born in Knox County, Tenn. Couple migrated to Stevenson, Alabama about 1850. They were parents of seven children. Includes the Gulley family in North Carolina from the early 1750's, and later in Hawkins Co., Tenn. and in Virginia; the McDaniel family in Tennessee, Kentucky and Oregon etc.

Includes Gulley, McDaniel, Frazier, Day and related families.
