Notes
North East and Charlestown were set off from the North East Circuit in 1836. The new Nottingham Circuit for 1836-1849 consisted of Asbury, Rising Sun, Houses, Zion, Hopewell, Bethel, Mount Rocky, Elk Ridge, Townsends, Ebenezer, Furnace, Liberty Grove, Corners, Fry's Forge, Stone, and Octoraro. In 1850 The circuit divided into Zion Circuit consisting of Zion-Ebenezer, Hopewell-Mt. Pleasant, and Asbury; and into Oxford Circuit consisting of Oxford, Elk Ridge, Bethel, Mount Rocky, New London, Octorara, Houses, Union, Flint Hill, White Rock and Zoar.
