"The Central Provinces were first constituted in 1862, and in compiling the lists the aim held in view has been to make as complete a record as possible of all Commissioned Officers, military or civil, their wives and families, who died in the Province prior to that date.... After 1862..particulars regarding the families of civil officers directly connected with the Province only have been given." -- Introd.
Cemeteries are in the provinces of Maharastra, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.
