James Milton Taylor (parents not given) was born ca. 1790/92 at Campbell Co., Virginia, near Lynchburg. He died 16 Aug 1869 at Cumberland Co., Tenn. He married 29 Oct 1812 at Campbell Co., Va., Pamelia/Permelia Dickey, born 21 May 1795, the daughter of John Dickey and Susanna Davidson. Their first five children were born in Campbell Co., Va. and the remaining seven were born in Roane Co., Tenn. Descendants have lived mostly in Tennessee, Texas and Arkansas.
