Family of Belton Ford from Chester Co., S.C. He was born ca. 1796 and died in 1876. His residence from 1850 to 1855 was Benton Co., Ala., and in 1872 Jacksonville, Calhoun County. He married Judah Berry (d. 1884) in 1817 in Rutherford Co., N.C. She was born in Virginia. They were parents of six known children. Family members live in Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, Texas, Virginia and elsewhere.
