John Nannney, Sr. was born in about 1719. He lived in Virginia and died in Brunswick County in 1785. Six children were mentioned in his will. Descendants of these children lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Kentucky, Mississippi and elsewhere.
