James Turner Walker was born October 4, 1795 in South Carolina. Mourning Carter was born August 3, 1800 in Wythe County, Virginia. They were married October 23, 1817 in Pulaski County, Kentucky. They had fifteen children. Their daughter, Polly (1818-1850), married Daniel H. McAnnich May 28, 1837 in Casey County, Kentucky. Includes births, marriages and deaths of the Walker and McAninch families of Kentucky, Missouri, Texas and elsewhere.
