Cover title: Henry Sewell, (Burgess) of Virginia.

Chiefly, a record of descendants of Henry Sewell who was born about 1586 in Bristol, England. He married Alice Willoughby. They came to America in 1634 on the Elizabeth & Dorcas (ship). They had four children. Henry served in the House of Burgesses from Elizabeth City and Lower Norfold County, Virginia. Henry died in Virginia in 1644. Descendants lived in Virginia, North Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, Texas and elsewhere.
