Randolph Barber (b. 1776?) was born in Virginia and was the descendant of Scots-Irish emigrants. He married Mary Foster (1773?-1861) and they were the parents of nine children. The family settled in Pittsylvania County, Virginia and lived there until the 1840s when Mary and some of her children moved to Ohio. Descendants live throughout the United States.
