Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Herrick (and variant spellings) families who came mainly from England and Ireland. In the 1600-1700s, some immigrated to Barbados (West Indies), and Connecticut, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New York, North Carolina, and Vermont. One ancestor was Henry Herrick, who was born in 1604 to Sir William Herrick and Lady Joan May in Beau Manor Park, England. Henry immigrated to Salem, Massachusetts in 1629. Another was Jacob Herrick, who settled Rensselaersyck, New York in 1636. Thomas Herricke was another ancestor who left Leicester County, Ireland for Barbados (West Indies) in 1684. descendants of these and other Herricks also lived in Iowa, Missouri, and elsewhere.
