Newsletter for the interchange of genealogical data and history of the Rogers (and variant spellings) families who lived mainly in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Virginia in the 1700's. During the 1800's, some migrated into Arkansas, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, Tennessee, and Texas. Main focus is on (but not limited to) the descendants of Shadrach and Hope "Hopey"Rogers (1762-1838) who lived in Georgetown District in eastern South Carolina, and later moved to Covington County, Mississippi. They had a son, Meshack (1795-1869). Meshack married thrice, and had fifteen children by his three wives, Elizabeth L. Brunson, Mary Lucrecia Geiger, and Carolina Purvis. These and other Rogers families lived in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Nebraska, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Oregon, Tennessee, Texas, and elsewhere.
