Notes

"The records, newly checked and entered into the computer, were first compiled by Frank L. Greene, church clerk 1919-1929. He used original church and cemetery records along with other primary and secondary sources. Included in the over 1800 individual entries are births (infant baptisms were not done), parentage, places of origin, marriages, date and place of deaths, military service, and many other biographical notations. Lists of Revolutionary War, War of 1812, and Civil War soldiers from Alfred were also included"--Foreword.
