"This genealogy ... deals primarily with the family of Russel Jones (1745-1828) of Albemarle County, Virginia. However, in the process of collecting records on the one individual trying to prove his parentage, a great deal of information was collected on other Jones families, and is consequently contained herein."--Introd. Russel Jones married Ann Beasley (b. 1753-ca. 1808) in Virginia, ca. 1770. They both died in Franklin Co., Georgia.
