Notes

William T. Vaughan (ca. 1710-ca. 1786) was probably born in Prince George County, Virginia. He married (1) Mary and (2) Mildredge Gregory. They lived in Mecklenburg County, Virginia at the time of their deaths. Their grandson, William (ca. 1770-1830), and his wife, Margaret were married ca. 1792-3. William died in Washington County, Kentucky. Several of their children migrated to Missouri. Descendants lived in Missouri, Kansas, California, and elsewhere.
