Martin Marshall was born in Maryland in 1749. He married twice and eventually settled in North Carolina. He had fourteen children with his two wives and many grandchildren. Information on many of these family lines is included in this volume. Descendants now live in Virginia, New York, South Carolina, and elsewhere.
