Chiefly ancestral families, relatives and descendants of the author, Erbon W. Wise. Erbon W. Wise was born in 1920 in Claiborne Parish, Louisiana, the son of Edmond Wesley Wise (1884-1971) and Eula Estell Bridwell Wise (1894-1971). He married Willie Marie Norris in 1942. They had four children, 1943-1960. He is retired and was living with his wife at Sulpher, Louisiana, in 1995.

Ancestors include: William Wise (ca. 1820-ca. 1856) of Ireland and Vernon Parish, Louisiana -- James Hunt (ca. 1753-1801) of South Carolina and Georgia -- Thomas Bridwell (b. ca. 1620) of England and Virginia -- Edmund Allman (b. 1732) of Spotsylvania County, Virginia.
