William Glass was born in Virginia after 1743. He lived part of his childhood with his half sister Elizabeth Cave. He married Elizabeth Christy and soon moved his family to Scott county, Kentucky. He was the father of twelve children. Information about many of his descendants is given in this volume. Descendants continue to reside in Kentucky and elsewhere.
