Microreproduction of original typescript (mimeograph; 1935, 4 p.).

Most of this was written by Rev. A.J. Ponton in 1916 and was copied with added information by the Historical Foundation in Montreat, North Carolina.

The community or settlement of Buffalo was located in or near Pamplin, Virginia.

The church was established around 1740 by Rev. John Thompson.
