Chiefly a record of some of the descendants of James Milton Amyx. James was born ca. 1744 in Virginia to Matthew D. Amyx, Sr. and Mary. He married Nancy Baker 24 Apr, 1804 in Bedford County, Virginia. She was born 1785 in Virginia to Samuel Baker, Jr. and Mary. They were the parents of four children. He died ca. 1815 in Virginia. She died 18 Jul 1852 in Kentucky.
