Philip D. Berger was born 10 March 1814 in Frederick County, Virginia. He was the son of John or Henry Berger and Elenor Davis. Philip died 13 September 1880 in Seneca County, Ohio, and was buried in Null Cemetery, Seneca County, Ohio. He married Mary Jane Null on 13 June 1839 in Seneca County, Ohio. Mary was born 3 September and died 14 September 1860.
