Adam Lambert (ca. 1741-ca. 1816) emigrated in 1764 from Europe and settled in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. He married Maria Salome, daughter of Adam Hammaker (ca. 1717-1783). They later moved to Virginia where he died in Augusta County, Virginia. One son, David Lambert, married Margaret (Peggy) Phillips, daughter of James Phillips, in 1802 in Augusta County. They later moved to Gallia County, Ohio.
