This book was compiled from submissions to an on-going project to compile records of veterans buried in Oklahoma. Information was taken from tombstones, cemetery records, newspaper obituaries, American Legion records, and family records. The letters and papers used to compile this book are in the Veteran Burials Vertical File in the Oklahoma Historical Society Library in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Contents: v. 1. pt. 1. A-K -- v. 1. pt. 2. L-Z.

Names of veterans are listed in alphabetical order. Information given for each veteran may include name; dates of birth, death, and burial; war in which veteran served; name of cemetery where buried; rank, branch, and service group in military; and supplemental information about medals, American Legion or VFW affiliation, etc.

Library has bound pt. 1 and pt. 2 of v. 1 as one volume.
