Richard Bradley, parents not listed, was born in Ireland and immigrated to Duplin County, North Carolina. He married a Miss Mitchell and they had one son, Thomas in 1762. Thomas married Elizabeth Taylor on 29 Sep 1782 in Duplin County, North Carolina. They had 11 children. Elizabeth died in Fountainhead, Sumner County, Tennessee. Thomas died in Jasper, Dubois County, Indiana. No death dates are listed. Their descendants have lived in Tennessee, Indiana, Arkansas, Missouri, Utah, and other areas in the United States.

Includes history of one Bradley family from Tennessee to Utah.
