Albert Sinclair Hunter was born in 1908 in Jefferson Township, Greene County, Indiana, son of Effie Alice Carpenter and Sinclair Hunter. Book covers family of his ancestor, Eliza Ann McKee, daughter of Joseph Howe McKee and Lucinda Bartlett, born 1832 in Scott County, Kentucky, later married to Orren Ivress Tally in 1853 in Owen County, Kentucky. McKee ancestry is traced to James McKee, son of William and Elizabeth McKee, who married Lydia Todd. He later died in Rockbridge County, Virginia in 1778.

Includes Carpenter, Tally, Chorn, Todd, Houston, and related families.
