Notes

Flushing Monthly Meeting was established in 1671 and met at various times in Flushing, New York, and Newtown. Its name was changed to New York Monthly Meeting in 1795 and meetings were held in Flushing or New York. Ten years later in 1805 the Flushing Monthly Meeting was again established with Flushing as the only meeting place. At the 1828 Separation the Hicksite branch retained the property and records. The Orthodox branch met on Henry St.
