Thomas Cross Christmas was born 16 October 1690 in Pohick Creek, Stafford County, Virginia. He died in Hanover County, Virginia before 29 December 1769. In 1732 he was granted 731 acres of land in Hanover County. His wife's name is not known, but he had at least seven children born between 1715 and 1727. Agnes , John , Sarah Ann, Richard, Catey, Rachel and Thomas Christmas were all born in Hanover County.

Contains eight generations of descendants of Thomas Cross Christmas including Christmas, Higgason, Sims, Whitlock and related families. Appendices include transcriptions of records which document the family history.
