The South African Republic (Zuid-Afrikaansch Republiek, Z.A.R.) was extinguished after the Anglo-Boer War. It included the Transvaal and parts of Ntala and the Orange Free State.

Marriage register includes date of act, date of registration, name of bride and groom, their ages, place of marriage, birth place, occupations, and residence at time of marriage.
