Includes information about various Riser/Reiser families in the records of the Carolinas. George Reiser came to the Carolinas and landed at Cape Fear on the ship, "Friend Good Will" before 1751. He settled in Dutch Fork, South Carolina. Includes Singley family of Martin Singley (1702-1777) who married (1) Anna Regina Barbara and (2) Cornelia Elisabeth. Martin's son, Martin (1733-1793), was born in Esslingen, Germany and married a Riser. He later died in Dutch Fork, South Carolina.
