Lyman Peter Losee, a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, was born in Lehi, Utah on 9 Dec. 1860. His parents were Abraham Losee & Mary Elizabeth Lott. He married Mary Ann Peterson on 14 Nov. 1888 in the Logan Temple in Logan, Utah. They both died in Lehi, he on 6 Nov. 1932 & she on 13 Sept. 1942. In addition to descendants of Lyman & Mary, this family history also includes 4 lines of their ancestry.
The 1st of the Losee line that came to America was Jan Corneliszen de Zeeuw who was born ca. 1625 in Zealand, Netherlands. He married Janneken Pieters in 1644. In 1651 he emigrated to America & was a resident of New Amsterdam on 22 Dec. 1653. Jan was one of the founders of Buschwick, Long Island, New York. He probably died prior to 1687.
The 1st of the Lott line to come to America was Engelbert Lott who was born ca. 1600 in France. His wife, whose name is not known, was also born in France, ca. 1604. His son Peter was born ca. 1626 in France, emigrated from a point near the Lotte River in France, in the year 1652, & settled in Flatbursh, Kings County, Long Island, New York. Peter married Gertrude Lambers ca. 1655. Their 6 children were Englebart, Catrina, Abraham, Hendrick, Peter & Johannes or John.
Anna Maria Pherson was born in Halmstad, H, Sweden 22 June 1844. After joining the Church, she married Andrew Peterson in April of 1862 while passing through Germany on the river Elb on their way to the United States. They arrived in the U.S. in 1862. Anna Maria's mother, Greta (Greta Ingemansson Pehrsson, born 16 Sept. 1807) came to the United States in 1863. Anna Maria & Andrew both died in Lehi, Utah, he on 30 Dec. 1911 & she on 22 June 1844.
Anna Maria's husband, Andrew, was the son of Anders Peterson, born 14 June 1808 in St. Ibb, Sweden & Marna Anderson, born 25 Oct. 1807 in Blentarp, Malmohus, Sweden. .
