Hawaii, World War I Service Records, 1917-1919

World War I Service Records for Hawaii WWI veterans who served in 1917-1919. Congress ordered that a service record for each person serving in 1917-1918 be created and provided to the Adjutant General of each state. That record consisted of a card that contained information abstracted from the service record of each veteran. Clerks in the War Department and Navy Department executed the work. Digital capture of the original records are located at the Hawaii State Archives.
